Day 1
Today was the first day of our activity rotations. The campers spent time playing volleyball, basketball, archery, doing crafts and much more! Our team spent their first night last night with their campers, needless to say it was a long but awesome night!
We have been blessed to be fed by our cook Brad, he had spent time in Mexico and pastoring, and somewhere along the line learned to cook delicious food!
Our team has a mix of responsibilities including counseling, teaching, dishes and running basketball. Today we had two messages given out of the book of Luke by Brett and Victor. Our theme for the week is discipleship.
The call to discipleship is the call to follow Jesus with no reservations. This is our goal for theme campers is to know and love Jesus in a way that rivals any other love in this world.
We went floating down the Yukon and tubing today as well!
