Day 3
Today was another blessed day. We had wonderful interaction with the campers last night. Some leaders amongst the group expressed a bit of discouragement because of the student's seeming lack of spiritual interest. However, this morning a few of the counselors were able to share that the campers which seemed to have no interest in spiritual things asked the best questions. Some of them consisted of, "How do you know Heaven and Hell are real?", "Where did they come from?", "How can you be 100 percent sure you're a Christian?". These questions warmed the hearts of those leading them. Brett was able to remind the group that the goal doesn't have to be having an hour to an hour and a half conversation every night with every camper in order to consider ourselves faithful. We are called to love them as a whole person. And for them to know we are interested in them is the aim. Our lady leaders have done well in loving their campers, they
